This long weekend my family and a friend went camping at a place called Lilac Resort, which is located in St. Anne, Manitoba. We had never been to this resort before, but we heard it was a lot of fun from a good friend of mine. (Danielle) Since camping is a family favourite thing to do, we decided to take a chance and go to a place we had never been before, and boy am I glad that we took this chance! This had to be the BEST CAMPING PLACE EVERRRR! There were 2 HUGE waterslides, and 4 smaller ones! and 2 swimming pools and a spray pool, as well as 4 HOT TUBS!!!! There was a place to order food and an ARCADE! It was sooo relaxing to be able to sit in the sun and swim ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! There was even LIVE entertainment! We all had an absolute BLAST! it was very sad having to leave, but I know for sure, we will go back again!!!!!!!

WORKING TOGETHER FOR A COMMON GOAL.....Children Helping Children
I have always believed that everyone has a voice and even the smallest voice can make a difference. A perfect example of this happened in April 1995 when a boy named Craig Kielburger came across an article in the Toronto Star about a young boy from South Asia named Iqbal Masih who had been sold by his family and forced to work as child labour in carpet factory. After reading the article of how Iqbal ended up losing his life to help other children like him, twelve year old Craig Kielburger decided it was time to step up and make a difference and he founded the organization Free the Children www.freethechildren.com which today has over one million youth involved and over sixty different corporate partners www.freethechildren.com/aboutus/partners.php
One of these partners originated with the Ganz family http://www.ganz.com/ganz_story.php and their product Webkinz www.webkinz.com It was with the great success with the sale of Webkinz pets and other related merchandise that in late 2007 the Ganz family launched the Webkinz Foundation www.webkinzfoundation.org to develop programs and donate funds to programs that benefit children. The Webkinz www.webkinz.com The
"We believe that our retail partners share in our vision of a world where all children are educated, well nourished, and have access to quality heatlh care."
